The gleam of glassware may be the first thing to catch a visitor's eye, but it is the servers' smiles that keeps diners returning to Sarducci's. After 15 years, the warm service and flavorful fare have proven to be a winning combination and an integal part of downtown Montpelier. Sarducci's anniversary on January 19th owes much to the remarkable women who own it, and their remarkable friendship.

"This has more than fullfilled our expectations." Dorothy Korshak remarks, reflecting on her restaurant's tenure. "The thing that's so amazing is that after 15 years, we're still having a good time. It never occured to me that it coult be really fun..." "...and that it could still be going after 15 years," Carol Paquette chimes in. After 15 years as business partners and more than 20 as friends, the two women frequently finish each other's sentences. It's an incredible relationship: amiable and warm, productive and efficient. Their friendship has fostered an establishment that's like family to those who work here and a dining experience that feels like coming home.
